Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Director of Operations to lead Carlton Forge Works’ manufacturing and operational performance.

You will own safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement across forging and supporting operations. The role translates strategic objectives into executable operating plans, drives data‑driven management, and leads a capital‑intensive manufacturing operation with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance with aerospace, defense, and PCC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business (MBA or MS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives.
• Own and drive operational KPIs with disciplined review cadences and credible recovery plans.
• Ensure business plan execution across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual horizons.
• Provide clear direction, accountability, and prioritization across the operations organization.
• Partner with Engineering on process improvements and with Supply Chain on material flow.
