Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and oversite of an integrated account team delivering Transaction Management, Lease Administration, Facilities Management, and Capital Project Management services.
• Lead cross-functional service delivery organization supporting facilities management and capital projects portfolios.
• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with client stakeholders across Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Procurement.
• Drive strategic planning, governance, KPI performance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure integration across service lines to maximize value realization and seamless client experience.
• Lead business reviews, steering committees, and operational governance forums.
• Oversee financial performance, budget management, forecasting, and contract compliance for the account.
• Partner with project leadership for major infrastructure initiatives and alignment with real estate strategy.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering accountability and safety.

Reporting to the Alliance Director, the Operations Director is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of an integrated real estate portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and consistent execution across Transaction Management, Lease Administration, Facilities Management, and Project Management services. The role serves as the principal operational liaison to client stakeholders and leads cross-functional teams supporting a complex utility and infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and operational oversight of an integrated account team delivering:
• Transaction Management services
• Lease Administration
• Facilities Management operations
• Capital Project Management
• Lead a cross-functional service delivery organization supporting:
• Facilities Management and capital projects portfolios
• Transaction Management team including dedicated Transaction Managers supporting the client's real estate strategy
• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key client stakeholders across Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Procurement.
• Drive strategic planning, governance, KPI performance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure integration across all service lines to create a seamless client experience and maximize value realization.
• Lead business reviews, executive steering committees, and operational governance forums.
• Oversee financial performance, budget management, forecasting, contract compliance, and resource planning for the account.
• Partner with project leadership teams supporting major infrastructure and energy initiatives to ensure alignment between real estate strategy and broader business objectives.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience within Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Integrated Facilities Management, Project Management, or Portfolio Operations.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale outsourced service delivery engagements exceeding $100M in annual spend.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments across multiple business units and geographies.
• Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing significant operating and capital budgets.
• Proven ability to lead matrixed teams across brokerage, facilities, lease administration, and project management disciplines.

Strongly Preferred Experience

• Utility industry experience (electric, gas, water, power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable energy).
• Energy, infrastructure, heavy industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or mission-critical operations experience.
• Experience supporting major capital programs, infrastructure modernization initiatives, or large-scale construction portfolios.
• Prior leadership experience with integrated real estate outsourcing accounts for Fortune 500 organizations.
• Familiarity with highly regulated operating environments where safety, compliance, and operational continuity are critical business drivers.
