Job summary

hireneXus seeks an Associate in Boston to join its Portfolio Support team, evaluating operational improvement opportunities across investments and portfolio companies. You will translate findings into value-creation initiatives post-close and work with deal teams and executives.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in operational due diligence within a consulting, PE, or value-creation setting, with strong analytical, Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in operational due diligence within PE/consulting.
• Experience evaluating value creation opportunities in PE transactions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into recommendations.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.

Responsibilities

• Support operational due diligence across pricing, sales, procurement, SG&A, and cost optimization.
• Analyze data to identify value creation opportunities and risks.
• Coordinate third-party advisory workstreams and synthesize findings for investment teams.
• Develop materials for investment decisions and IC discussions.
• Translate diligence findings into prioritized post-close initiatives.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for portfolio performance.
• Prepare executive presentations communicating findings and progress.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI.
