Symbotic is seeking candidates for its Operations Development Program (ODP), an 18-month rotational path to prepare future leaders in Operations. The program provides exposure to Customer Operations and related functions within Symbotic's automated distribution environment.

ODP Associates rotate through core operations, manufacturing, supply chain, installation, commissioning, and service, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship while driving safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

  • Recent master's degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain, or a bachelor's degree with equivalent work or military experience.

This dynamic, 18-month rotational program is designed to prepare high-potential individuals for impactful leadership roles across Operations. As an ODP Associate, As an ODP Associate, you will rotate through Symbotic’s core Operations business functions, gaining valuable exposure to key areas, building cross-functional expertise, and developing a strong foundation for a successful leadership career.As an ODP Associate, you will gain hands-on experience across key areas of Customer Operations while building expertise in warehouse automation, system performance, customer operations, and continuous improvement. Through rotational assignments, technical immersion, mentorship, and project-based learning, you will develop the skills needed to make an immediate impact in one of the world's most advanced automated distribution environments.Upon successful completion of the program, associates are expected to transition into operations leadership opportunities across Customer Operations and related operational functions. At Symbotic, you'll help transform the future of supply chain automation while working alongside teams that deliver innovative technology solutions and operational excellence for our customers.What You'll DoParticipate in a structured rotational program with exposure to operational, technical, and customer-facing functions.Gain hands-on experience supporting the operation and performance of Symbotic's automated systems.Build foundational knowledge across site operations, manufacturing, supply chain, installation, commissioning, and service functions.Partner with cross-functional teams and customers to drive safety, quality, productivity, and performance outcomes.Analyze operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and support corrective actions.Complete capstone projects that contribute to operational excellence and customer success.Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development throughout the program.What you’ll needPassionate and driven individuals with a recent master's degree in business administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain, or a bachelor's degree with equivalent work or military experience.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.A proactive and collaborative approach to work.Passion for technology, operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.Flexibility to relocate and travel as needed during the program.Flexible working hours, overtime and travel required.Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to motivate cross-functional or cross-facility teams in a fast-paced operations environment.Our EnvironmentUp to 75% of travel may be required, travel during ODP program. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed bi-weekly.There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.Frequent ability to safely and efficiently lift items weighing up to 50lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs.Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. Where you may need to be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Must be capable of occasional and/or continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.
