Job summary

Sysco Corporation in Maui is seeking an Operations Coordinator to coordinate and assign the work and equipment of the Night Shipping operations, improving shipping efficiency and ensuring SOP compliance. You will communicate changes to loads with Sales and other leaders, assisting in problem-solving to achieve high customer satisfaction.

The role involves creating reports, training on the putty system, prioritizing routes, setting up load sequences, auditing loads, and supporting substitutions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of administrative experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective written & oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets, prepare summary information for manager's review.
• Prepare and update recurring and routine internal reports, collect and verify data.
• Evaluate current operational performance and participate in the creation of strategic ideas for improvement.
• Train new selectors in the use of putty system and shorts process.
• Prioritize routes for selection.
• Create truck load sheets once routing/putty is set up
• Conduct pre-shift meetings as needed
• Responsible for locating product missing from slots.
• Process orders into the putty system.
• Set up truck loading sequence.
• Audit loads
• Determine if substitutions can be made if needed.
