Compensation Range: $57,049-$77,587. This salary range reflects full-time, 12-month assignments. Salary offers for part-time roles or assignments of less than 12 months will be prorated based on the assignment scope and duration.

Purpose of the Position: Under the direction of the Executive Director of Facilities and Operations, coordinates facilities use requests for district properties, assists with accounting issues, and coordinates purchase requests.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties and Responsibilities: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. In addition to the requirements listed below, regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

  • Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives, and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan.
  • Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities to enhance the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
  • Plans, coordinates, and oversees the rental and use of District facilities and property, ensuring efficient scheduling, appropriate facility use, and compliance with established policies, procedures, and applicable requirements.
  • Serves as a liaison between District departments, staff, and external organizations to coordinate and facilitate the use of District facilities and property, and addresses and resolves issues related to facility use contracts, including situations where facilities or assigned staff are not available as specified in the agreement.
  • Negotiates, develops, reviews, and administers facility use agreements and contracts for internal and external users, ensuring compliance with applicable Board policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Coordinates the Board of Education fee waiver process, including developing and maintaining related documentation and facilitating fee waiver requests with the Superintendent's Office.
  • Coordinates and maintains the District-wide Facilities Use calendar, including scheduling events and arranging staff assignments to support facility use and event operations.
  • Updates, reviews, and maintains content on the Operations Department website to ensure information is accurate, current, and accessible.
  • Trains support staff on invoice approval and processing procedures, including recording invoices in Excel and monitoring expenditures against budgeted amounts by vendor.
  • Collaborates with Accounts Payable and Purchasing to resolve issues related to facility rentals, rental fees, events, and related transactions.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline or comparable experience in business, operations, administration, or related field is preferred.

Work Calendar: 12 Months

Working Conditions: Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
