About this Role
Operations Coordination Manager – Seattle, WA. This senior lead supports operational planning and readiness for major healthcare capital projects, aligning operational requirements with program objectives, funding constraints, schedule milestones, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operations planning activities for healthcare capital projects, including stakeholder coordination, governance support, schedules, budgets, procurement, communications, permitting, workflows, transition planning, and reporting.
- Engage with hospital operations, clinical leadership, facilities, IT, materials management, environmental services, clinical engineering, and other support departments.
- Coordinate operations‑facing communications aligned with program/project communication plans, maintain mechanisms for frontline staff inquiries, and ensure timely responses.
- Support activation and transition planning, including staff readiness, training coordination, move planning, inspections, cleaning activities, and go‑live preparation.
- Track action items, risks, decisions, and issue resolutions to keep project delivery aligned with hospital operations, providing clear escalation paths and decision support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of internal hospital operations experience.
- Experience in hospital operations, clinical support, facilities, transition planning, activation, capital project coordination, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of hospital workflows, patient care environments, support departments, regulatory considerations, and operational readiness.
- Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with clinical, operational, facilities, and project stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage details across multiple phases of complex healthcare projects.
- Experience supporting healthcare construction, renovation, activation, or occupancy projects.
- Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams in an active hospital environment.
- Capability to translate operational needs into clear project plans, schedules, and actionable follow‑throughs.
- Proficiency in practice management systems, MS Excel, and EHR/clinical tools.
- Strong team leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities.
- Proactive conflict resolution and adaptability under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to use data to drive decisions, forecast demand, and improve patient flow.
Working Hours
Full Time, on-site.
Compensation Range
$140,000 - $175,000 annually, based on experience, education, and skills.
