Job summary

Continental Battery Systems is seeking an Auto Technician to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair and replace batteries of various sizes. The role may involve field service, some driving to customer destinations, and warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Ideal candidates have an AA degree or equivalent with a 3.0+ GPA and at least 1 year of related automotive experience, either with us or elsewhere.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent with GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• 1 year experience as WA for the Company or as Automotive Technician elsewhere.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair and replace batteries of all sizes.
• Perform light maintenance and warehouse tasks including shipping/receiving.
• May perform occasional deliveries to support customer relationships.

Title: Auto Technician (Golf Carts)
Reports To: Typically reports to the Branch Manager
Classification: Full-Time/Part-Time, Regular, Non-Exempt Exclusively
Normal Hours: Commonly an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday-Friday with

occasional weekends

General Description (major areas of responsibility of this position):
A person in this position is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and replacement of batteries of all sizes. Knowledge on battery product and equipment, policies and procedures is significant. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs which may require driving to customer destination (field service). Performs light, preventative maintenance, automotive mechanic work. This person is also responsible to safely recover used batteries, perform warehouse tasks associated with shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance, and records the successful processes and procedures required to carry out all functions. May perform occasional deliveries to support the customer relationship. Experience with safe forklift driving practices and material handling equipment and processes is significant. Excellence is demonstrated consistently and process improvements are contributed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Formal Training (courses, degrees, and credentials required):

• AA Degree or equivalent; 3.0 or higher GPA preferred

Experience (type and amount of experience required):

• Meeting the below KSAVs and
• Minimum 1 year working as a WA for the Company, or
• Minimum 1 year working as an Automotive Technician or equal, elsewhere
