The Research & Evaluation team is seeking a personable, organized, and detail-oriented Operations Associate. The Operations Associate serves as a key point of contact for faculty and staff across the College and supports surveys, course evaluations, and administrative processes. This role helps ensure these processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while providing responsive support to stakeholders. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, solving problems, learning new systems, and coordinating processes that keep projects running smoothly. They take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and are committed to producing accurate, high-quality work.
This role will be expected to work in-person one day per week at the SLCC Taylorsville Campus.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Course Evaluations
- Assist with course evaluation setup, editing, Canvas integration, and communication through Explorance Blue.
- Support the distribution and administration of course evaluations each term.
- Troubleshoot issues and connect users with appropriate resources and solutions.
- Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement of evaluation processes.
Survey and Research Support
- Assist with the institution's survey request process, including monitoring requests, tracking progress, and supporting project completion.
- Respond to survey-related inquiries and direct requests to appropriate team members as needed.
- Assist with survey creation, testing, distribution, and documentation.
Administrative and Operational Support
- Provide administrative support for SLCC's Qualtrics survey platform.
- Support the configuration and scheduling of institutional surveys.
- Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and communication for Research & Evaluation initiatives.
- Assist with administrative and operational activities that support team goals.
- Monitor shared email inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.

- Experience with Qualtrics or other survey, evaluation, or customer service platforms.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Experience providing administrative, operational, or project support.
