Job summary

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates to join our fast-paced logistics team. OAs will report to a Site Leader and perform tasks such as picking, packing, receiving product, and coordinating with drivers to ensure timely delivery.

You will help maintain inventory, manage shelf organization, follow FIFO, and uphold health, safety and sanitation standards while working across first to third shifts. This role suits reliable, energetic candidates who enjoy a busy environment and snacks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule across 1st-3rd shifts.
• Basic familiarity with web-based software (e.g. Google G-Suite).
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shifts.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers
• Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors, ensure inventory matches PO/invoice, resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Clean and organize sales floor and facility
• Manage waste and spoilage through FIFO
• Contact customer for substituted or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan and move product safely
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment to move product
• Handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work in freezer locations periodically during shifts
• Walk several flights of steps periodically
• Prepare quality beverages and food menu items observing recipes/presentation standards
• Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaged for delivery
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
• Receive and put away orders/invoices and resolve discrepancies when they don’t match expiration requirements
• Maintain Kitchen Facility organization to ensure resources accessed while managing waste

You will accomplish a variety of operations responsibilities including picking, packing, receiving product both within our site and accompanying kitchen (if applicable), and working with our partner drivers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment (preferred, not required)
• The ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)
• General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite)
• Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
