Bergdorf Goodman, a New York luxury retailer, is seeking an Operations Associate to support stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling. You will contribute to store sales, profitability, and a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities include daily operations, transfers, inbound/outbound freight, shipping, price updates, and inventory control. A flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends is required; medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and other benefits are

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers.
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing inbound/outbound freight.
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders.
• Ensure merchandise placements meet standards and signage is correct.
• Reticketing, price changes, and inventory control processes.
• Maintain back stock, stockroom organization and upkeep.
• Support with set-up and take down of in-store events and activations.
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all work areas.

YOU WILL BE:

As a Operations Associate, you will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling functions, including maintaining merchandise organization. You will perform operational, daily tasks to support store sales, profitability and enhance the customer experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Complete daily store operations and help direct leads and managers.
• Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound / outbound freight.
• Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders.
• Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed.
• Merchandise price changes and reticketing; signs and moves product once marked.
• Reticketing, damages, mark out of stocks and related inventory control processes.
• Responsible for back stocking, stockroom organization and maintenance.
• Under the guidance and direction of Managers and Visual, merchandises product and sets sale events and signage, while ensuring standards are followed.
• Support with set-up and take down of in-store events and activations.
• Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• 1+ year of retail experience
• Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks with a "win together" mentality
• Basic proficiency with Google Suite
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds
• Associates must work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

SALARY AND OTHER BENEFITS:

Salary: The hourly range for this position is $18/hr. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
