Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and merchandising.
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Overseeing cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices.
• Managing store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and impulse sales areas.
• Handling damaged merchandise daily.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling, supplies, and expense control.
• Refilling coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
