**Responsibilities include:**

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. Supervising hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
9. Assisting with merchandise receipt, returns, and damages.
10. Supporting staffing, sales, cashiering, merchandising, and supply management.
11. Ensuring store displays and promotional materials are effective and well-maintained.
12. Participating in scheduling and expense control.

**Minimum Requirements:**

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
