Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including store cash, and adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and merchandise management.
8. Supervising hourly Associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
10. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
11. Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
12. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
13. Overseeing promotional displays, seasonal areas, and signage.
14. Assisting with scheduling, supplies, and expense control.
15. Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
16. Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
