Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom.
7. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
9. Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following policies.
10. Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness.
11. Overseeing cashiering and cash handling practices.
12. Managing store displays, signage, and seasonal areas.
13. Assisting with scheduling, supplies, and expense control.
14. Maintaining merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales.
15. Refilling coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
