Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Supporting store functions, including opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom.
7. Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
10. Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness.
11. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Overseeing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
13. Managing store supplies and expenses.
14. Maintaining merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales.
15. Refilling store displays and program racks daily.
16. Assisting with scheduling and store operations management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
