  1. Assist in working with and onboarding transportation partners, managing daily trips, and assisting parents and districts to meet their needs.
  2. Manage daily customer operations, including new client start-ups, retention, and development.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with current and potential clients. Collaborate with internal staff on proposals and negotiations.
  4. Manage staff equipment and items necessary for trips, such as driver/staff badges and business cards.
  5. Monitor new legislation affecting student transportation and assist the team in implementing changes.
  6. Find, onboard, and develop relationships with local and national transportation providers.
  7. During school year startup, communicate and negotiate routes with local service providers.
  8. Ensure accounts operate efficiently, maintaining high customer service levels.
  9. Oversee vehicle maintenance, compliance, and manage a large pool of drivers and partners.
  10. Collaborate with internal departments to improve service quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  11. Maintain a safe environment for passengers, contractors, and the public by managing policies and procedures.
  12. Adhere to all company policies while providing excellent customer service.
  13. Utilize industry skills to support and grow transportation operations.
  14. Learn and use technical skills to generate reports, SOPs, and help develop standard practices within FirstAlt.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Education or Certifications Required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of policies, procedures, and practices in the field. Ability to lead and make personnel decisions. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
