Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Assist in managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Manage promotional fixtures and displays effectively.
• Oversee seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Coordinate signage in the store.
• Handle damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and merchandise displays to maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
