About ITM

ITM is a privately owned biotechnology and radiopharmaceutical group of companies dedicated to the development, production and global supply of targeted diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and radioisotopes for use in cancer treatment. We are developing a proprietary portfolio and growing pipeline of targeted treatments in various stages of clinical development addressing cancers such as neuroendocrine cancers or bone metastases. Our main objectives are to significantly improve treatment outcomes and quality of life for cancer patients through a new generation of Targeted Radionuclide Therapies in Precision Oncology. The headquarters are located in the heart of the research center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

In the US, ITM is expanding to support our growing portfolio and pipeline. We are building a high-performing commercial team to bring innovative radiopharmaceutical therapies to patients and strengthen our presence in oncology.

Position Overview

The Operations and Events Manager will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our U.S. organization. This individual will be responsible for managing smooth day-to-day office operations while also leading the planning and execution of high-impact internal and external events. They should be a proactive, self-motivated professional with a passion for creating positive, polished environments and experiences. Whether it’s keeping the office running efficiently or delivering a seamless event, they must approach every task with energy, precision, and care. The ideal candidate is resourceful, resilient, and genuinely enjoys supporting teams and building strong connections. Key Responsibilities
Event Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events—ranging from team-building activities and executive offsites to workshops, conferences, and client-facing experiences.
  • Develop detailed event budgets, timelines, and run-of-show documents.
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Manage all on-site logistics during events, from setup to tear down.
  • Collect feedback and assess the success of events to continuously improve execution.
Operations Support
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring information is current and easily accessible.
  • Support the administration of the promotional review of marketing material.
  • Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and other internal documents.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment that enhances productivity and employee satisfaction.
  • Liaise with building management and other external partners as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or event planning.
  • Background in working within fast-paced, collaborative team environments, preferably in a growing or startup setting.
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure while maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing a wide range of events, from small team gatherings to large-scale corporate functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and design tools such as Canva or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal departments and managing relationships with external vendors.
