Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage quality improvement project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Create updates and report out project status to upper management
  • Capable of identifying process nonconformances and coordinating cross-functional groups to identify solutions
  • Facilitate or lead kaizen events for continual improvement opportunities
  • Use six sigma or 8D methodology to drive standardization, results and continuous improvement initiatives across the global enterprise.
  • Write and solicit feedback for process governance documents.
  • Monitor process performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.

  • Managing projects to ensure stakeholder execution and schedule adherence

Govern and perform internal Quality Audits
  • Check for manufacturing compliance to internal standards such as specifications and policies
  • Collaborate with engineering and operation managers to address root cause
Lead or Facilitate 8Ds and Kaizen events
  • When there are significant deviations from the standard, lead 8D investigation. An immediate need to contain the problem and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA), to resolve root cause.
  • As needed, facilitate kaizens; geared at quality improvements through technicians, supervisors and engineers’ collaboration.
  • Perform quality stand downs with technicians as needed to convey and correct quality issues
  • Monitor for any repeats, keep track of results and report out to Executive Management
Collaborate with Supplier representatives to minimize supplier caused Quality non-conformances
  • Quick engagement with Supplier Quality Engineers to manage responsiveness of suppliers to Mfg. issues with a focus on keeping manufacturing operational.
  • Engagement on stock purges or containments in manufacturing while working with the Manufacturing Engineers to assess the product and prevent a line down
  • Follow up with Supplier Quality Engineers and keep Manufacturing abreast of progress
Lead Quality continuous improvement projects
  • Identify top quality projects based on impact to Quality variance and defect per system rate
  • Lead a small team to execute projects from planning through validation/closure

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
