Job summary

The Home Depot in Atlanta seeks an Operations Analyst to identify and analyze complex process problems, using quantitative skills to drive resolution and continuous improvement. You will partner with store operations, operators, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable process enhancements that create measurable value across online and in‑store activities.

You will turn data into insights, support decision making with statistics, and help forecast performance.

Qualifications

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in business, retail, or consulting preferred.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and analyze complex operational problems and drive effective resolutions.
Prepare insights and recommendations based on analyses.
Review sales/financial analyses and identify categories with potential.
Analyze trends in consumer data and technology; conduct focus groups.
Interpret data using statistics; provide input for forecasts and strategy.
Facilitate problem-solving sessions and synthesize findings for leadership.
Communicate issues and roadblocks to upper management; support process improvements.
