Job summary

QinetiQ US, a leader in defense and security technology near Fort Bragg, seeks a qualified professional to provide operational threat awareness and identity management support for SOF missions. The role requires coordinating across DOD and government partners, conducting threat analyses, and delivering risk-informed recommendations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of military or civilian equivalent, and TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years military/civilian experience required.
• Advanced Technicians Course or Identity Management training required.
• SOF sensitive activities or OSS intelligence experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Far Ridgeline Engagements, a QinetiQ US company, provides operations support to Special Operations Forces.

Responsibilities

The technician provides operational and threat awareness and familiarization briefings, collaborates and coordinates with DOD organizations and other government agencies in support of program’s strategic outreach objectives, requirements, and tasks. Performs identity assessments and provides mitigation recommendations. Conducts operational overwatch and develops mission-specific risk levels and reporting criteria for missions and personnel. Drafts, coordinates, and promulgates identity management plans. Coordinates with external organizations to enhance support to the customer by sharing and gathering current information on situations, intelligence cyber threats, lessons learned, emerging technology, data mapping, and other factors affecting ubiquitous technical surveillance threat mitigation. Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of current and future SOF mission requirements to identify the best current and emerging resources regarding technology. Conduct adversarial threat analysis to evaluate and assess risks to operations and personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Education or experience in lieu of education: Bachelors degree; or 4 years of military service; or 4 years of comparable civilian sector work experience
• Military/Government Training: Advanced Technicians Course, or Identity and Signature Management Training Course, or Foundations of Sensitive Support
• Experience: SOF sensitive activities, Open Source intelligence or comparable experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 8 years of experience within Special Operations
  • 6 years staff officer experience
