Susquehanna International Group, LLP is launching a six-month Operations Analyst development program designed to train you for a full-time role on our operations teams. Throughout the program you will rotate across trading desks and business areas to deepen your understanding of Susquehanna's infrastructure, data workflows and risk controls.

Overview

Every day, Susquehanna participates in millions of trades on exchanges around the world. Our operations team manages the infrastructure that allows these trades to move forward with speed and accuracy. How do we aggregate and analyze trading data to help make better future decisions? How do we ensure that we correct any trade breaks that would expose the firm to financial risk? How do we constantly improve the efficiency with which we complete the lifecycle of a trade? This is where our Operations Analysts come in.

The six month Operations Analyst development program will prepare you for a full-time Operations Analyst position at Susquehanna. Throughout the program, you will rotate across various trading desk and business areas at Susquehanna to deepen your understanding of the firm. At the end of your rotations, you will be expected to leverage your diverse skill set and knowledge of Susquehanna's business to maximize your impact as an Operations Analyst. You will be placed on a team that best aligns with your skills, interests, and Susquehanna's business needs.

What we’re looking for

• We look for people from a variety of backgrounds who have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Some of our Operations Analysts come in with a passion for the financial markets, some come in with programming knowledge. All come in with a curiosity and desire to grow and have an impact on Susquehanna's business.
• Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Math, Computer Science or a related major looking to start a full-time job upon graduation
• Strong interest in math, technology, and the financial industry
• Candidates with an advanced knowledge of Excel, as well as experience with Python, HTML, VBA or SQL preferred
• Students who have an ability to collaborate with a team while having the confidence to work independently
• Candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit who are flexible and have a commitment to innovation
• Students who demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
