Job summary

The StoneX Group Inc. is seeking an entry-level Operations support specialist in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on routine clerical tasks, data entry, data validation, and customer service across a regulated financial services environment.

You will work under close supervision, perform basic research when needed, and coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate, timely processing and effective issue resolution. This onsite position offers growth in a Fortune-100 environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.
SIE certification or ability to obtain within 2 months of employment is a plus.
Strong communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and basic SQL/database query knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide routine support for the Operations team, including data entry, compiling, validating data, and clerical tasks.
Assist with team phone and email coverage and respond to inquiries.
Maintain attendance, understand team expectations, and adhere to policies.
Develop cross‑department relationships and look for process improvements to increase efficiency.
