DCS is seeking a proactive Operations Analyst to support a fast-paced Army project management office. As an Operations Analyst for our Fort Belvoir based customer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing senior leader and office schedules, reviewing documents and staffing actions, coordinating meetings and visitors, planning and executing meetings, conferences and VIP engagements, making travel arrangements, and performing operational tasks.
This is a full-time, onsite position.
Manage senior leader and team schedules and synchronizing meetings and engagements in Microsoft Outlook and Teams and coordinating special events.
Prepare Defense Travel System authorizations and process vouchers for customer team.
Review documents to ensure memorandums comply with Army Regulation 25-50 Preparing and Managing Correspondence and local guidance.
Process Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) / Defense Security Service (DSS) request when coordinating classified engagements and screening in-person visits.
Provide information in support of the plans, integration, and operations mission.
Develop administrative and management policies and directives for issuance to staff organizations to ensure implementation of the decisions, plans, and other actions, and assist with on/off boarding of personnel.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
High school and 10, Associates and 5, or Bachelors and 3 years of related experience.
Secret level clearance is required.
Proven work experience as an administrative assistant or executive administrative assistant.
Hands on experience with Microsoft Office, with demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Excellent written and oral communications skills and strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with the Defense Travel System.
Military service and/or administrative experience within the Department of War
