Job summary

EDP Renewables is seeking an Operations Administrator to oversee all administrative duties for a wind energy generation site. You will provide periodic reporting of energy deliveries, plant performance, and downtime, and process invoices, service agreements, and other documents.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a technical industry with administrative responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and Concur; inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide periodic reporting of energy deliveries, plant performance, and downtime.
  • Process invoices, service agreements, and other documents.
  • Process facility expenses and manage budget-related tasks.
  • Interface with site contractors and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist with regulatory filings and safety/compliance requirements.
  • Manage electronic and paper copies of agreements and project docs.
  • Participate in the facility’s annual budgeting process.
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team.
  • Interface with Engineering, Accounting, Legal and Development staff.
  • Travel up to 10% as needed for site coordination.

What you will do
Role Overview:

The Operations Administrator is responsible for overseeing all administrative duties for a wind energy generation site.

Main responsibilities:
  • Provide periodic reporting of energy deliveries, plant performance, and downtime
  • Process invoices, service agreements, and other documents
  • Process facility expenses
  • Interface with site contractors
  • Perform regulatory filings with public agencies
  • Assist with complying with safety, federal, and site-specific regulations and agreements
  • Manage electronic and paper copies of agreements, permits, handbooks, procedures, and project-related documentation
  • Participate in facility’s annual budgeting process
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team
  • Interface with and support on-site staff as needed
  • Interface with Engineering, Accounting, Legal, Development staff, and other individuals, both internal and external
  • Additional duties as required

Headwaters Wind Farm in Winchester, IN

OR

Timber Road Wind Farm in Payne, OH

What are we looking for
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 5+ years in a technical industry
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, SAP, and Concur
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products. (Preferred)
  • Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise. (Preferred)
Travel:

Up to 10%

  • Sufficient schedule flexibility to manage facility emergencies 24/7
  • Proven ability to learn new software programs
  • Experience with LAN and computer hardware troubleshooting and repair preferred
Physical demands & working conditions:
  • Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment
  • Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form
  • Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary
