Job summary

Stantec is seeking a diligent Operations Support professional to schedule training rooms at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA. You will manage RFMSS scheduling, coordinate event logistics, and support audiovisual equipment operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, preparing reports, processing maintenance work orders, and ensuring compliance with unit directives. A minimum of two years' experience and ability to pass background checks are required.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule classrooms via Range Facilities Management Support System (RFMSS) for units requesting a training venue.
  • Assist personnel in creating RFMSS accounts and coordinate late requests.
  • Provide consultation with event organizers seeking to utilize the OTC.
  • Coordinate training and usage of the OTC based on priority levels; cancel/reschedule as needed.
  • Coordinate daily logistics for classrooms and conference rooms.
  • Prepare slides detailing classroom schedules and utilization.
  • Coordinate delivery of classroom materials and equipment.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports of equipment.
  • Maintain and update Key Master Log.
  • Process reconciliation on work orders for office maintenance requests.
  • Conduct daily/weekly RFMSS updates detailing occupied classrooms and requests.
  • Prepare weekly RFMSS utilization reports and status reports.
  • Liaise with unit coordinators to ensure compliance with Combat Center Order 3120.2.
  • Verify building usage data with BEARMAT and logbooks quarterly.
  • Assist units with operation of OTC AV equipment.
  • Troubleshoot AV systems and coordinate replacements.
  • Report facility maintenance issues to Section Supervisor.
  • Notify BEARMAT of unit occupation/departure from G3 classrooms.

Your Key Responsibilities- Schedule classrooms via Range Facilities Management Support System (RFMSS) for units requesting a training venue
  • Assist personnel in the creation of RFMSS accounts, and coordinates as appropriate to process late requests
  • Provide consultation with event organizers seeking to utilize the OTC
  • Coordinates training and usage of the OTC based upon priority levels established in the CCO; exercise good judgement and authority to cancel and coordinate rescheduling of a class if higher-level priority training becomes necessary
  • Coordinate event details, logistics, equipment availability, and materials for scheduled classrooms and conference rooms daily
  • Prepare slides daily detailing classroom schedules and utilization
  • Coordinate delivery of classroom materials and equipment and logistics for equipment storage
  • Prepare monthly reports of equipment inventory
  • Maintain and update Key Master Log
  • Process reconciliation on work orders for office maintenance requests.
  • Conduct daily/weekly and as-needed RFMSS updates detailing occupied classrooms, no shows, and same day requests
  • Prepare weekly RFMSS utilization reports, maintain and update logs, and prepare various other status reports
  • Liaise with unit coordinators and ensure compliance of Combat Center Order (CCO) 3120.2.
  • Verifies building usage data is correct via building logbook and BEARMAT usage data on a quarterly basis
  • Assists units with the operation of the audio/visual equipment located in the OTC. This includes, but is not limited to, computers, proxima’s, audio visual equipment such as VCR, DVD, whiteboards, the automated integrated system internal to the department, etc.
  • Troubleshoots problems with the classroom audio visual systems and makes minor repairs, adjustments or coordinates replacement of equipment as necessary
  • Reports facility maintenance issues to Section Supervisor and produces facility maintenance requests for submission to the Public Works Department (PWD)
  • Notifies BEARMAT of unit occupation and unit departure from G3 owned classrooms.
Your Capabilities and Credentials- Knowledge of the mission, rules, guidelines, regulations and basic objectives and policies governing the procedures for management of the OTC
  • Ability and skill in applying standardized processes of managing the OTC in order to plan and coordinate classroom space appropriate for the class size
  • Basic knowledge and skill in the use of various equipment such as a proxima, VCR, DVD players, and the automated integrated system internal to the department.
  • Ability and commitment to work collaboratively with all groups, including staff, management, client, supporters and other stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of military operations and codes of conduct
  • Strong administrative, logistics, and written and oral communications skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Must submit to and pass a company background check, if selected for the position
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be willing to work full time at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, CA

Pay Range:
  • Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, ME, NY, VA Areas-$53,600.00 - $75,000.00 Annually

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
