Job summary

BD is seeking an IT/OT leader to champion our Electronic Device History Reporting system and drive seamless integration between manufacturing equipment, MES, and corporate IT. This role also manages the network infrastructure, supports multi-site operations, and enforces security standards across sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Electronic Device History Reporting system integration with the MES System.
• Own the physical network infrastructure, managing IDF/MDF rooms for peak performance.
• Troubleshoot IT/OT devices, printers, phones, and network issues with local IT teams.
• Respond to priority incidents to restore critical systems.
• Oversee installation and support of OT and business applications across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with corporate security requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with corporate on manufacturing IT infrastructure initiatives and cybersecurity improvements.
• Provide multi-site IT/OT expertise across locations for IT-related challenges.
• Develop knowledge of manufacturing IT/OT systems including PLCs, HMIs, and Windows environments.
• Master BD's OT cybersecurity standards and ensure compliance.
• Maintain OT software/hardware through upgrades and changes.
• Evaluate how corporate IT directives impact local operations and approve site changes.

• Tech Support Extraordinaire - Collaborate with local IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve computer, printer, phone, and network challenges that arise
• Emergency Response Hero - Jump into action during priority incidents, helping restore critical systems when they're not performing as expected
• Project Management Wizard - Oversee installation and support of Operational Technology and Business Applications across multiple sites, working with project teams to plan for future needs
• Security Sentinel - Ensure all technology meets corporate security requirements and standards
• Corporate Collaboration Star - Partner with corporate on manufacturing IT infrastructure initiatives and cybersecurity improvements
• Multi-Site Support Specialist - Provide technical expertise across locations, becoming a valued resource for all IT-related challenges
• Technology Polyglot - Develop comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing IT/OT systems including PLCs, HMIs, and Windows environments
• Cybersecurity Advocate - Master BD's OT Cybersecurity standards and ensure compliance
• Problem-Solving Pioneer - Create innovative solutions to IT/OT challenges as they emerge
• Upgrade Orchestrator - Maintain and support OT software/hardware through version upgrades and changes
• Corporate Initiative Liaison - Evaluate how corporate IT directives impact local operations and provide final approvals for site changes
• Strategic Technology Advisor - Guide purchasing decisions for hardware and software upgrades

Minimum Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:

The expected Base Pay Range for this role is $ 95,900.00 - 153,400.00 USD Annual plus incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
