Inceed has partnered with a great company to attract an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Engineer for a hybrid role in Houston. The position involves securing OT environments on both on-premises and cloud networks, strengthening defenses, and supporting critical projects with a highly technical security program that has broad visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of technical security or security engineering experience.
• Knowledge of GDPR, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and NIST CSF.
• Experience with IEC 62443 security standards.
• CISSP, CASP+ or equivalent certification required.
• Experience conducting or reviewing security risk assessments.
• Ability to communicate security issues and recommendations clearly.
• Willingness to travel 15%–20% as needed.

• Design and support security architecture for OT environments
• Assess current controls and recommend security improvements
• Identify vulnerabilities and help drive remediation efforts
• Support security incidents with timely analysis and response
• Guide projects with secure design and control requirements
• Review risk assessments and support customer audits
• Maintain and improve security systems, standards, and procedures
• Partner across IT teams to strengthen enterprise security posture

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

• Experience with SIEM platforms and security logging
• Exposure to cloud configuration and secure deployment practices
