PTMW, Inc., a state-of-the-art metal fabrication and assembly factory, is looking to fill a full-time position for an Operational Technology (OT) Integration Specialist. We are looking for someone who has extensive computer knowledge and is a self-starter that is ready to solve complex problems.Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and automate production by bridging the gap between the ERP system and the OT equipment within the facilityAssist in managing the network infrastructure, installation, administration and configuration of industrial equipment connected to the enterprise networkWork with production leadership to automate processes using APIs, scripts, custom applications, or other means to increase efficiency and reduce human errorProvide technical assistance to machine operators, maintenance, vendors, and others as needed regarding industrial equipment connected to the networkMaintain communication with customer(s) to efficiently solve problems, coordinate downtime, and ensure issues are satisfactorily resolvedWork with maintenance staff to resolve critical equipment outages in a timely manner with flexibility to occasionally work after hours or weekends as neededPerform miscellaneous related duties and other duties as assignedThe ideal candidate is someone who can think outside the box when necessary. In addition, the proper candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field OR 4 years of relevant, progressive IT experiencePrior experience or knowledge of PLCs, I/O integration, electronics, automation, industrial equipment, and related softwareExperience with Prima Power, TRUMPF, BLM or other industrial equipment manufacturers is preferred, but not requiredExperience utilizing programming/scripting languages such as C#, Python, Visual Basic, or other languages to build custom integrations or automationsExperience managing enterprise networks with working knowledge of VLANs, static routing, ARP, firewalls, switches, and basic network troubleshooting skills.Experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and other related endpoint and server technologiesExperience or knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environmentExperience administering a Microsoft SQL server, Actian Zen, or other database server(s) in an enterprise environmentPatience, knowledge and experience providing customer service and direct end-user supportAbility to manage multiple large projects simultaneously and meet milestones and deadlines throughout the life of the project(s)Strong written, oral and interpersonal communications skills – the applicant should be able to convey technical information to non-technical staff in a manner that is efficient, effective, and courteousSelf-starter who remains organized and can collaborate with all levels of associates within the companyAbility to lift 40 lbs
