This role provides hands-on experience in a professional operations environment while allowing the intern to apply academic knowledge, develop practical skills, and gain exposure to corporate accounting processes.**KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry and account reconciliations* Prepare and maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation* Help review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts* Assist in month-end closing activities* Verify accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies* Organize and maintain accounting files in compliance with company policies* Assist with fixed assets by gathering requested documentation and schedules* Perform basic analysis of financial data as assigned* Use Excel to track and report financial information* Adhere to confidentiality and internal control procedures* Provide administrative and ad-hoc support to the accounting team* Other duties as assigned by TAS**JOB SKILLS*** Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel* Experience working as a member of a team**EDUCATION & TRAINING*** Currently enrolled and pursuing an Accounting related degree.# PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Position is at least 80% to 95% at a desk working with computer.
