Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive operational excellence at the Front Royal, VA facility. You will lead waste-elimination initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem solving.

The role involves developing capacity plans, ROI analyses, and guiding cross-functional teams to achieve higher quality, safety, and productivity on the shop floor. You will observe processes on the shop floor (Gemba), mentor project teams, and report progress to leadership

Qualifications

• Degree and demonstrated experience in operational excellence.
• Extensive experience with Lean/Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
• Proven ability to analyze data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Leads improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and non-value-added work.
• Given to use Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and problem-solving methods to drive change.
• Supports development and validation of new capacity and processes.
• Facilitates cross-functional teams to achieve Best-in-Class performance.
• Develops ROI proposals and tracks project milestones and savings.
• Reports progress to leadership on a monthly basis.
• Gemba observation to identify opportunities and implement actions.
