Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking an Application and Technical Support Engineer to size and specify custom products, analyze designs, and lead projects. You will generate drawings, cost estimates, and provide fabrication support for assigned projects in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering (Mechanical preferred), 3D modelling with SolidWorks, and experience interpreting electrical schematics. Strong communication, time management, and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 3D modelling experience; SolidWorks experience desired.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring interconnects.
• 3+ years' experience in catalyst/silencer design preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in Application/Project Engineering preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently to produce high-caliber deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Size and specify custom products for applications.
• Apply engineering principles to analyze and design custom products.
• Serve as technical lead on assigned projects.
• Generate sales and fabrication drawings and develop cost estimates for quotes.
• Provide fabrication support for projects.
• Install and troubleshoot service work for products in the field.
• Create engineering tools to increase day-to-day efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
