Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring for an experienced Operating Room/Surgical Nurse (RN) in the Phoenix, AZ area. Supported by a Level 1 trauma center and Magnet recognition, this role focuses on direct patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, 1+ year OR experience; ACLS/PALS preferred. Expect opportunities across day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem options.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Aseptic technique experience.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain aseptic and safe operating room environment.
• Assist in intra-operative care and nursing duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedure and postoperative care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care

Salary: $61,340 to $100,360 /year
