Job summary

Incredible Health is recruiting an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) in Hanford, CA. The role supports diverse surgical specialties and procedures, with on-site responsibilities and day shifts.

The RN will provide direct patient care, maintain aseptic technique, monitor vital signs, and communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care. ADN or higher in nursing and an active RN license are required or preferred with OR experience.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license (unencumbered).
• 1+ year OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with aseptic techniques; strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the operating room.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties as assigned.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Hanford, CA area for the following position: Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On-call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
