Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, is seeking a Surgical Services support role to assist with patient positioning, transport, and sterile coordination in the operating room.

The position requires a High School diploma (Associate or Technical/Vocational training preferred) and BLS certification; 1+ year of related experience preferred. This is a full-time daytime role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; associate or technical/vocational training preferred.
• Candidate should have 1+ year of position-related experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient positioning in the operating room.
• Transport blood, supplies, and equipment as required.
• Stock supplies in the Surgery area and maintain sterile environment.
• Deliver specimens to the lab and obtain blood for transfusions.
• Assist with room turnover and support the surgical team.
