Qualifications

• Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois.
• BSN graduate with active nursing license.
• 3 years of Operating Room experience.
• Current AHA BLS/CPR and other required unit certifications.
• Effective communication skills and ability to use EHR.
• ACLS/PALS certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes orientation and unit-specific competencies.
• Develops and updates the patient's plan of care based on assessment and family input.
• Shares information and collaborates with the health care team to promote effective patient care.
• Verifies and implements orders and documents accurately in the EHR.
• Performs scrub and circulating functions during procedures.
• Ensures patient safety and supports quality outcomes per nursing standards.
