Job summary

The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who coordinates patient care using the BSWH nursing model. The RN plans and implements individualized care, promoting safe passage for patients and guiding transitions.

This role requires clinical judgment, teamwork, and adherence to Texas Nursing Practice Act. BLS certification at start, and experience in robotics or trauma is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years OR experience required.
• Robotics, Trauma, able to scrub and circulate highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and identify patient needs using BSWH nursing model.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Coordinate patient care and delegate tasks within the team.
• Ensure safe patient transitions and communication with care providers.
