Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in pediatrics for a perioperative (OR) role in a pediatric acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics, an Ohio RN license, and a BSN (or in progress), with BLS and ACLS certification.

CNOR highly preferred; American Heart Association certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Ohio RN license and active state license.
• BSN degree or in progress; BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgeries and monitor patient status.

Job description

Key responsibilities include providing nursing care during surgeries, performing patient assessments, and assisting physicians to ensure patient safety and continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units.

Qualifications require a minimum of 2 years OR experience in pediatrics, an Ohio RN license, a BSN (or in progress), and certifications in BLS and ACLS. American Heart Association certification is mandatory, and CNOR is highly preferred. Additional experience in pediatric acute care, reconstructive surgery, or laser procedures is a plus.
