Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance's OR Nursing team is seeking a full-time Operating Room Nurse at CHA Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, MA. The role encompasses scrub and circulator duties, with day/evening shifts and on-call requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, and have at least 2 years in the OR; Periop 101 is required, CNOR preferred. Benefits include a potential bonus up to $20,000 and a collaborative perioperative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Massachusetts RN License in good standing.
• American Heart Association/American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Successful completion of Periop 101 during CHA orientation.
• CNOR preferred.
• Minimum 2 years current Operating Room (OR) nursing experience; circulating and scrub roles required.
• On call obligations required for nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care according to Cambridge Health Alliance and perioperative nursing standards in the scrub and circulator roles.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care in a professional manner.
• Demonstrate leadership and adherence to nursing philosophy, policies and procedures within the perioperative setting.
