Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. The OR nurse will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in line with standards and policies.

Ideal candidates will hold an accredited nursing program completion, an active NC RN license, and BLS certification. Prior OR experience is strongly preferred to support skilled intraoperative care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
