Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS, and are prepared for a fast-paced OR environment with strong teamwork and education responsibilities for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with policies and standards.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments with precision.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge instructions.
• Supervise LPNs and unlicensed staff to coordinate care.
• Identify safety risks and support a secure patient environment.
• Participate in quality improvement and best practices.
