Job summary

Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, part of Temple Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time role operates 7:00 am–7:30 pm with a 36-hour workweek and day-flex shift.

The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under physician direction, collaborate with families and the health care team, and direct nursing support staff in accordance with nursing standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Required Bachelor's Degree.
• Required Experience: 2 years in area of clinical specialty.
• Preferred Licenses PA Registered Nurse License.
• Required Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates patient care under physician direction.
• Collaborates with patient, family, peers and care team to individualize care.
• Directs nursing support staff per standards and departmental policies.
• Professional education or certifications may be required by specialty.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
