Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while adhering to organizational policies and maintaining professional accountability.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, and BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS and other specialty certifications may be required within 6 months for certain units.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifespan using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to maintain standards of practice and ensure quality care.
