Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a flagship hospital of the Methodist Health System, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high‑level clinical nursing care to assigned patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while supporting hospital mission and patient safety.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas licensure (or eligibility), and current BLS certification, with 12 months RN

Qualifications

• Graduate nursing program and active nursing licensure in Texas required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Texas nursing license or eligibility to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote teamwork and safety.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Communicates with patients and families to support care goals.
• Utilizes clinical skills to ensure high quality patient care during the episode.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Administers medications and IV therapies following policies.
• Engages in professional growth and development.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
