Job summary
Shrewsbury Surgery Center in Shrewsbury, NJ, is seeking a part-time Operating Room Nurse to join our ambulatory surgical team. The OR RN will position and prep patients and circulate cases across ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, and Urology.
The role requires an NJ RN license, graduation from an accredited program, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 1 year of OR experience.
Qualifications
- RN license in NJ required.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Current BLS/ACLS/PALS per center requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Position patient and prep for surgery in OR.
- Circulate during procedures and assist team.
- Support OR team across ENT, General, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Spine, Urology and more.

The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. The Operating Room RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic, Podiatry, Spine, and Urology.
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
$40.00/hr - $59.90/hr (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
