Job summary

Piccard Surgery Center is seeking a PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse with orthopedic spine experience to support our surgical team. The role primarily requires Thursdays and occasional Mondays, providing flexible PRN scheduling for an experienced OR RN.

The Circulating RN will position patients, prep rooms, maintain sterility, and coordinate care throughout cases, with emphasis on orthopedic procedures. An accredited nursing program and an active state RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an OR RN.
• Experience assisting with Orthopedic cases.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and patient‑centered nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Act as Circulating RN: position patients, prep, maintain sterile environment, coordinate case flow.
• Must have hands‑on experience assisting with Orthopedic cases.

We are currently seeking an experienced PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse to support our orthopedic cases.

This PRN role is needed typically every Thursday, with some Mondays, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced OR RNs seeking PRN scheduling.

Position Summary

The OR RN provides safe, efficient, and patient‑centered nursing care during surgical procedures. As the Circulating RN, you will be responsible for patient positioning, prepping, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring seamless coordination throughout the case. Must have hands‑on experience assisting with Orthopedic cases.

Compensation: Pay Range: $47.42/hr. – $60.90/hr.

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
