Job summary

Ingenovis Health is partnering with facilities across Florida to place OR RNs for travel-friendly assignments. You will care for patients in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, while educating families and working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists.

We value adaptability and 1–2 years of OR experience, with an active nursing license in the US. Travel flexibility and the ability to meet unit needs are essential for success in these roles.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent OR nursing experience required.
• Active nursing license in any US state.
• Additional facility/unit specific requirements and certifications may be required.
• Willingness for travel and a flexible spirit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and postoperative care.
• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists and surgical technologists.

Job description

As an Operating Room Nurse, or OR RN, you'll be responsible for patient care in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of a patient's surgical experience. OR RN job duties include patient education, circulating and/or scrubbing, and working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists during and after surgical procedures.

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
