Job summary

Ingenovis Health is seeking an Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to join our perioperative team in Burlington, VT. You will provide comprehensive patient care across preop, intraop and postop phases and work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists and surgical techs.

The role emphasizes patient education, circulating and/or scrubbing responsibilities and seamless teamwork within the OR suite. Prior OR experience and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent experience in the operating room or perioperative care.
• Active RN license in one of the US states.
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing with patient education.
• Ability to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and surgical techs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and aftercare.
• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and support staff during and after surgery.

Job description

As an Operating Room Nurse, or OR RN, you'll be responsible for patient care in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of a patient's surgical experience. OR RN job duties include patient education, circulating and/or scrubbing, and working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists during and after surgical procedures.

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

• - 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
