Job summary

TriStar Health seeks an Operating Room Nurse Clinical Nurse Coordinator to provide expert perioperative nursing care while coordinating daily OR operations. You’ll circulate and scrub for procedures, oversee patient assessment and preparation, and ensure adherence to safety and infection-prevention standards.

You will support scheduling and workflow, mentor and precept nurses, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers, and help implement evidence-based practices that enhance outcomes

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for surgical procedures and provide expert perioperative nursing care.
• Oversee patient assessment, preparation and readiness for procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection prevention standards in the OR.
• Support OR scheduling and workflow to optimize operations.
• Mentor and precept nurses, promoting clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to plan and execute care.
• Help implement evidence-based practices to improve outcomes and patient experience.
